This just in: green is one of the hottest colors right now. By now you’ve surely seen the bold and bright shade popping up just about everywhere. Somewhere between an elegant emerald, but not nearly as light as lime, Bottega Veneta has claimed its rich, almost-apple like hue. Otherwise, we’ve also glimpsed plenty of mint woven into some gorgeous gowns and other pieces!
Green, of course, is one of those colors that comes in a whole host of shades but it often gets a bad rap as a color that’s harder for people to wear. That said, it’s all about finding the right shade for your skin tone! Especially with those darker shades of emerald green that are simply perfect for taking your outfits up a notch, whether it’s for an office-appropriate outfit for even a formal frock for your next occasion.
As for lime green and similarly light hues? Those brighter, neon styles are usually best kept to either eye-catching evening wear or casual days out, which doesn’t leave too much wiggle room when it comes to styling this gorgeous color.
In which case you can always venture into this season’s gentler shades of pastel, mint green instead. Plenty of models have been spotted on the runways with this softer version of green and it makes for the perfect piece to wear just about everywhere too. From sophisticated dresses ready for special events, to date night, to everyday outfits and more. It’s one of our absolute favorites and it’s not hard to see why.
But there’s also been a return of the “Bottega Veneta Green” and we can’t help but adore it. Like many specific colors such as Valentino’s iconic fuschia just last year, or Supreme’s very specific shade of bright red, Bottega found their gorgeous apple-colored green a few years back. And it’s better than ever now, popping up all around. Which is exactly why we’ve pulled out some of our favorite green pieces and snatched up a few new ones too!
